Besides the activities RUW organizes there are a lot of organisations organizing interesting activities. We would like to give an overview here:

De studiefinanciering staat fel ter discussie. De Tweede Kamer en het kabinet buigen zich momenteel over een nieuw studiefinancieringsstelsel. De kans is groot dat de studiefinanciering niet langer een gift zal zijn. Er wordt zelfs gesproken over het afschaffen van de studiebeurs. Maar, hoe denken studenten, scholieren en ouders over de studiefinanciering? Wat zijn voor jou/u de consequenties als bijvoorbeeld het gehele bedrag aan studiefinanciering voortaan een lening is? Dát is wat de Landelijke Studenten Vakbond graag wil weten. Met andere woorden: is de studiefinanciering heilig? Klik hier en geef je/uw mening over de studiefinanciering!

World Naked Bike Ride Saturday 19th of June

To celebrate bicycles and protest against cars and pollution, and to celebrate our beautiful bodies and what we can do with them (like cycling), we will cycle naked or 'as bare as we dare' across Wageningen and then to Arnhem. Our nudity symbolises our vulnerability to cars and pollution. This event is organised all around the world in about seventy cities.

We will gather at the market square in Wageningen at 13:00, where we will decorate ourselves and our bicycles. Then we will cycle straight through Wageningen, as part of the LEEFfestival(.nl). At 14.30 sharp we will leave from the market square to Arnhem, where we will also cycle through the city. Afterwards we can have dinner together in Oosterbeek (own costs + please register in time!).
